Helado Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 55 691 655 875) operates helado.com.au. This page lists what data we collect, why, and who we share it with. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Email address when you sign up via the email capture or stockist forms.
- Name and phone number when you submit a stockist enquiry (Ordermentum, pickup, or partnerships).
- Pages you view, links you click, and time spent on the site, via cookies and tracking pixels.
- IP address and browser type, sent to our hosting and analytics providers.
- A hashed (one-way encrypted) version of your email, when you submit a form, sent to Meta to attribute conversions back to ads.
Why we collect it
- To send you product updates and stockist news (only if you opted in).
- To respond to stockist and partnership enquiries.
- To measure how well our marketing is working, and to improve the site.
- To target future ads to people who might want what we sell.
Who we share it with
- MailerLite (email marketing platform): your email, name, phone for sending marketing emails. Their policy.
- Meta (Facebook + Instagram): hashed email + browsing behaviour for ad attribution and audience building, via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. Their policy.
- Vercel (site hosting): server logs including IP address. Their policy.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone outside the providers needed to run the site and our marketing.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies for site functionality, and third-party cookies from Meta for ad attribution. You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies may prevent some features from working.
Your rights
- Access: ask us what data we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct any inaccurate data.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your data and unsubscribe you.
- Unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link, which removes you from MailerLite immediately.
